My First Official Book Signing

My first official book signing was a wonderful and memorable experience.

The team at Half Price Books on Beechmont Avenue made the day easy, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable. From the moment I arrived, they were supportive and enthusiastic about helping make the event a success. Several staff members commented on how polished and professional the display looked. One person even said it felt like a publisher event, which meant a great deal after all the time and preparation that went into it.

Throughout the afternoon, I had the opportunity to meet an incredible mix of readers, families, and fellow book lovers. Some stopped out of curiosity, while others were drawn in by the covers or book summaries. Before long, we were talking about imagination, storytelling, fantasy, and the ideas that inspire a good adventure. I was grateful for every person who took the time to stop, ask questions, purchase a book, or simply share a smile. Those moments reminded me why I write.

It was especially rewarding to see readers connect with Phineas Fitch and the Curious Chest and Whispers of the Fallen. Talking about the characters, the worlds, and the stories still to come helped me find my rhythm and made the entire afternoon feel natural and exciting.
